Lovely, clean establishment. Found the staff nice & helpful. The food was nice but not worth the money. Had a pizza without any topping on top which was disappointing & the chicken carbonara hardly any chicken inside.

Hopetoun local tavern, restaurant, bar, bistro. A wonderful place to host gatherings, events, or just a nice night out with the family. Food is 7 out of 10, price is good considering remote location. Staff could be a little more engaging and friendly but get the job done. Overall a clean, well presented venue with pool table and darts, and TVs on walls in the bar area. Outside area as well with some facilities for nice outdoor eating.

we went in for the band and dinner. enjoyed the locals haveing a good fun friendly time while band entertained all kids up danceing just great to see. the meal was very yummy will call in again

Food is amazing, but as an Italian, I find it very off-putting and cringe that your Traditional Italian Carbonara" has literally no elements of "traditional" in it. At all. Except for maybe the pasta.Traditional is; Pasta

I was part of a group of 5 that went to the Bistro for a celebratory dinner on Fathers Day. We ordered a bottle of sparkling wine, and was rather rudely told by the manager to go to the bottleshop on the premises and get it myself. I purchased the bottle as directed then sat at the table. When the bill arrived, I was horrified to discover that we had been charged CORKAGE ($12) on a bottle that we had purchased on site from them! When we questioned it, we were told the charges were correct. The meal itself was entirely forgettable, with a seafood chowder seemingly filled with frozen corn a low point. We won't be back. EDITED AFTER RESPONSE FROM OWNER. Restaurant charges are there to compensate for the restaurant experience. Being sent to the bottleo on site was poor form no matter how you cut it. Enjoy your market while you have it. Eventually international travel will return, and domestic tourism will return to normal levels, and suddenly, local business will become important again. When that day comes, please don't whine about how locals need to support local businesses. Enjoy this economy while you have it.
